Title

Some barriers to a national policy for the American family

Authors

John T. Pardeck

Abstract

This paper defines barriers to the creation of a comprehensive national family policy in the United States. These barriers appear to be intricate parts of the American ethos and ideology. The major conclusion of this paper is that the barriers to a national family policy can only be overcome after major changes in the nature of American society. © 1981 Human Sciences Press.
