The CAATE Code of Ethics: Creating and Implementing the Code

Abstract

The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) became an independent association in the mid-2000s. By becoming an independent organization, the CAATE had to develop and communicate the code by which it would conduct its business. This article outlines the intent, development, composition, and implementation of the CAATE Code of Ethics.
