Enhancing the Field Experience in Financial Education
The New York Corporate/Financial Study is a holistic approach to financial education, conducted on a biennial basis continuously since 1978. Driven by specific objectives and grounded in ti,e premises of experiential education, the Study involves students in a year-long academic exploration and integration of financial, economic, political, social, historical, and cultural issues. The Study culminates in a ten-day, on-site experience in New York, where students interact with executives of numerous companies and institutions and experience the multi-faceted environment that is New York City. A variety of participant feedback measures affirm the benefits provided by the Study's holistic approach.
