The Development of the Missouri Documents Depository System: 1971-1977
Abstract
This article presents a historical account of the various steps taken by Missouri librarians to achieve a distribution system for Missouri state documents. Planning, development, passage, and implementation of Missouri documents depository legislation are addressed. This article will serve as a useful framework for state documents librarians wishing to implement or upgrade their state documents depository programs.
