Abstract

Craving What You Still Have is a collection of poems that explores the complexities of the female spirit through the exploration of sexual identity, feminine stereotypes, and the innate bonds of sisterhood reinforced through generations of desperate women. The relationship between the narrative speaker and the women (and men) portrayed in the poems evolves as the collection culminates to an almost euphoric realization of the need and desperation that is attached with being a woman.
