Abstract

The Computer Network Operations capabilities of the People's Republic of China are always a concern to the United States. The Chinese government has stated its intention to informationize the People's Liberty Army as a crucial objective of military transformation. As China's primary adversary, the United States should be aware of what kind of capability China has demonstrated and what kind of capability they are developing. The fact that China has actively conducted Computer Network Operations over U.S. cyberspace should remind U.S. policy makers to take China's cyber threat more seriously.
