Abstract

A follow up evaluation of career counseling services was conducted by Southwest Missouri State University Career center in the spring of 2004. Statistical analysis indicated that students significantly reported this career counseling methodology gave them the tools to make responsible career choices. Student also significantly reported that receiving career counseling helped in retention. No statistical significance was found to support the hypotheses that the impact of career counseling differs by class rank or educational attainment.
