Abstract
The purpose of this study has been to trace the processes of writing and subsequently directing an original music theater work specifically tailored for the Christian community. This project has been done in response to the growing need of Christian Theatre in the ecumenical world. This project was approached as a creative thesis project. The method of investigation has been exploratory. The initial processes from inception to performance have been plotted and evaluated. An ethnographic study on gang culture has been applied to this project. The thesis is divided into eleven chapters with two main divisions: the writing process and directing process. The final chapter evaluates the entire project.
