Abstract
LORAPRI is a novella-length work of science fiction combining both poetry and prose. My purpose for this thesis was to write a literary work of art that could also be classified as science fiction. This work is representative of my progress of a writer and the successful combination of poetry and prose aspects in one narrative thread. It examines different aspects of humanity, including morality, the clash of cultures, and the nature of belonging.
