Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the directorial process of a production of Harold Pinter's The Homecoming. It was a creative project sponsored by the Baird Studio Fund and supervised by Springfield Little Theatre and Southwest Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance. It consists of six chapters. Chapter one breaks down the structure and development of the thesis. Chapter two gives a brief biography of Harold Pinter and discusses his style. Chapter three is the production analysis. Chapter four discusses the technical aspects of the production. Chapter five discusses observations on the directing process. Chapter six is the conclusion.
