Title
Drugs for pulmonary arterial hypertension: Endothelin receptor antagonists
Abstract
Although incidence of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is rare, medical-surgical nurses may have the opportunity to care for patients with this condition. Understanding PAH’s pathophysiology and important nursing considerations related to safe pharmacologic care for patients taking endothelin receptor antagonists for treating PAH will help improve patient outcomes.
