Adolescent violence: A family health and community challenge
Abstract
Adolescent violence is increasingly a major national and international problem that particularly affects families and communities. The purpose of this article is to explore the multidimensional features of adolescent violence and profile successful prevention and intervention strategies. A review of contemporary approaches addressing youth violence was conducted and conclusions are drawn for strategies that are effective at the family and community level.
