Recommended books for helping young children deal with social and development problems
Abstract
This article outlines strategies for helping young children deal with social and developmental problems through reading. The technical term for using reading as a tool for assisting children with social and developmental problems is commonly called bibliotherapy. The authors offer recommended books in a number of problem areas that often confront young children. © 1997 OPA (Overseas Publishers Association).
