Literature and adoptive children with disabilities
Abstract
Books can be an effective tool for helping adopted children with disabilities cope with changes in their lives. The paper offers strategies for using books to help special needs children adjust to the adoption experience. Recommended books for helping children with disabilities cope with the adoption experience are presented.
