Abstract

This paper presents a seminar on child discipline designed for parents who are not aware of alternatives to corporal punishment. This seminar emphasizes the importance of insuring that the discipline technique used is appropriate for the developmental stage of a child. The negative consequences of using punishment as a discipline approach are stressed throughout the seminar. © 1988 Gordon and Breach Science Publishers, Inc.
