Abstract
Analyzes the views of 17th-century parishioners in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and those of their pastor, the Reverend Thomas Shepherd, on such topics as conversion, confession, election, and grace. Compares the degree of correspondence between the opinions of the laity and those of Shepherd.
