Research methods: Inexpensive Jacob's staff with laser sight
Abstract
This paper provides information on the construction and use of an inexpensive fiberglass Jacob's staff and laser sighting device. Laser technology can facilitate high-precision sighting over long and short distances when measuring stratigraphic sections.
