Ion implantation of phthalonitriles and bisphthalonitriles
Abstract
The authors have synthesized new bisphthalonitriles having general structure BPN and the detail synthesis and characterization will be reported elsewhere. The imide, amide and silicon units were incorporated into the structure to enhance the thermal stability of the overall system. To our knowledge, the ion implantation technique has not been used to polymerize monomeric phthalonitriles or bisphthalonitriles.
