Title
Stamp of Approval
Abstract
Convincing people of the merit of your idea starts with your own image because acceptance of your idea largely depends on what others think of you. It isn't logical, but if we admire people, we will often be more receptive to and more easily persuaded by their ideas. Likewise, if we dislike people, we often hear what we expect, not what is said. Verbal, nonverbal, and written communications are all open to interpretation.
