Title
A comprehensive methodology for business process reengineering
Abstract
Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is an innovative change approach which aims at achieving dramatic performance improvements by radically redesigning business processes. The competitive climate is driving many companies to seek improvements in performance, and these companies are adopting the BPR approach for the sake of survival. Although numerous success stories of BPR have been publicized, the implementation of BPR is difficult due to the broad scope of the examination and complexities involved in the resulting changes. This paper expands on earlier studies and presents a comprehensive BPR methodology and tools which can provide guidance for successful implementation of BPR projects.
