Title
Effective measurement involves asking the right questions
Abstract
When companies implement a continuous improvement effort, it may be necessary to assess and change performance measures. By concentrating on total asset management, the proper performance measures can be identified relative to the entire operation. One positive initial step is taking a new look at job descriptions to identify new behaviors. Another step consists in a positive or, at least developmental, feedback of employees' performance.
