Title
The Efficacy of Paradoxical Strategies: A quantitative review of the research
Abstract
The efficacy of paradoxical strategies was evaluated in a quantitative review. The results of 29 studies served as observations. The findings indicate that paradoxical strategies were associated with better treatment outcomes than were other brief therapies assessed in these studies. Variables which mediate outcome were also identified.
