Title
The Effectiveness of an Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program among High School Students in Rural Missouri
Abstract
A three-pronged program to prevent underage drinking delivered alcohol education and anti-drinking messages to high school students and their parents and distributed pertinent information to local alcohol retailers in a rural community. Compared to a control community, students in the intervention community were less likely to develop risky attitudes toward drinking over time.
