The Ozarks Environmental and Water Resources Institute (OEWRI), in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences supports efforts to protect and restore water quality and supply in the Ozarks Region of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. Working with other university researchers, environmental groups, local communities, and government agencies, OEWRI provides technical expertise, analytical capability, and student training to support watershed research and monitoring programs.
