Abstract
Over the past year, the Unmanned Combat Armed Rotorcraft (UCAR) program has completed preliminary design and demonstrated key technologies. DARPA and the Army will soon announce their selection and begin Phase III. Flight testing of the first technology demonstrator is expected to start in two years. Following completion of the final phase, UCAR will provide the US Army with a revolutionary unmanned combat rotorcraft for the future.
