Abstract
The following works of fiction are meant to demonstrate understanding of various fiction writing concepts, techniques, and considerations as learned by the author in the creative writing program. As with any work of fiction, the events are based on the experiences of the author to a greater or lesser extent. All characters in these stories are purely fictional, but the author has attempted to mirror extant social forces and the effect of those forces on interpersonal relationships.
