Abstract
In the National Strategy for Combating Terrorism, President Bush clearly stated that the United States must win a War of Ideology should terrorism be marginalized in the future. Although the President has stated this, clear strategic guidance, adequate funding, and a credible message devoted to Winning the War of Ideology have been found lacking. Should the United States seek to marginalize and decrease the next generation of extremists, America must recognize that it must win this war and provide for a clear and comprehensive strategy while adequately funding a new strategic communications infrastructure to win the War of Ideology.
