Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate fourth grade students' attitudes toward the writing process with the use of computer technology. Data were collected from the Writer Self-Perception Scale, teacher anecdotal notes, and student artifacts. The focal group consisted of three students chosen for their potential to overcome their various weaknesses in the writing process. This study found that computer technology improved students' attitudes toward the writing process. Recommendations for researchers, teachers, and parents are included.
