Abstract
This thesis fully analyzes a statement in Dummit and Foote's Abstract Algebra that almost no subgroup lattices can be drawn in the plane without edges crossing. We shall prove this result true and fully enumerate all finite groups or families of finite groups that have planar subgroup lattices.
