Abstract
This collection of poetry deals with the issues concerning family, interpersonal relationships, and the act of work itself. The critical introduction cites much of the process and theory that goes into the composition so that readers may come to a greater understanding of them and of the writer. Many of the poems are written in free verse as well as blank verse influenced by both the British and American Romantics, Deep Imagists, the Beats, the Confessionals, the Post-Confessions and Language Poets.
