Abstract
The Missouri Veterans Foundation is attempting to raise 1.5 million for the building of the Missouri Unified Veterans Memorial. The idea was conceptualized in November 1982. The purpose of the memorial is to honor veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Areas of fund-raising being utilized are corporate pack, mailings, KTTS promotion, grants, public appearances and public service announcements. A print advertisement is also in the planning. The results of the fund-raising methods are minimal, making it difficult to measure effectiveness. The foundation is still working on the project but with little success.
