Abstract
All set in or near Wichita, Kansas, the five stories in this collection will address common human dilemmas of relationship and society in such a way that these dilemmas are not so much resolved as explored. Each story will be unique in tone and style, with variation as well in such fictive techniques as point of view, person, tense, expression of dialogue, distance, and narrative voice. While benefiting from post-modern views of story, the author, and reader interaction, this collection is not intended to be an experiment in any established style.
