Abstract
This thesis is a creative, original young adult novel about four teenage girls who spend a summer at an all-girl's camp. Janelle and Hayley are thrilled to be at camp; Cassie and Lauren are not. Through a series of challenges, the four girls learn about trust, friendship, and self-identity. This novel has an experimental form with no third person narrator. Instead the story is told through a series of letters, journal entries, transcripts of conversations, memos, and other documents found at camp. This multiple point of view approach helps to build the characters and give a sense of the texture of life at camp.
