Synthesis and study of some heterocyclic cyanoximes and coordination compounds on their base
Abstract
New cyanoximes of the formula HONC(CN)-R, where R is Δ2-thiazolinyl (1), 2-pyridyl (2), 2-quinolyl (3) have been synthesized and studied by IR, 1H, 13C, 14,15N NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray structural analysis. Imine-amine equilibrium has been observed in the case of 1, while for 3 nitroso - oxime tautomerism has been found to occur. Molecular and crystal structure of 2 and 3 have been determined. The molecule of 3 has trans-anti configuration, while that of 2 is cis-anti. Complexes of the compounds studied with various metal ions have been prepared and studied by IR and diffuse reflection spectroscopy. It has been shown that intensively coloured complexes of Fe(II) ions can be used for iron determination.
