Title
Integrating knowledge-based systems : A three-level framework
Abstract
Knowledge-based systems have traditionally been developed separately. This paper outlines a three-level framework called an integrated knowledge management architecture to integrate their separate development. The paper explores the problems among organisational knowledge-based systems and proposes their integration from an organisational perspective. The ANSI/X3/SPARC database framework is utilised to develop the integrated knowledge management architecture. A prototype of the architecture is proposed with a sample knowledge base.
